Each year, Behaviour Interactive celebrates a plethora of ubiquitous holidays and events that have become popular staples in Dead by Daylight. But its most special and perennial landmark is its anniversary celebration, which is held annually in June. Typically, these anniversaries come with a visual theme that is peppered throughout Dead by Daylight with exclusive cosmetics, items, and rewards that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Now, as Dead by Daylight approaches its sixth anniversary, new details have come to the fold about what to expect.

In preparation for its festivities, Behaviour Interactive has announced that it will have an honorary broadcast on May 17 to celebrate, where the later festivities will likely be revealed as well. Further, in its announcement of a special anniversary broadcast, Behaviour invites players and fans to take a look back at what has made this past year so memorable for Dead by Daylight. In a minute’s long clip, fans are reminded that Dead by Daylight added the Artist and the Onryo killer characters, an entire Resident Evil DLC, and boon totems with the addition of Mikaela Reid.

As a preface for the broadcast, May 17 is set to reveal a Year 7 Roadmap, quality of life improvements, gameplay improvements, a Chapter 24 reveal, and “a look at the store,” as well as what will be in store for in-game celebrations this June. Unfortunately, it seems as if Dead by Daylight’s sixth anniversary surprises may have been leaked ahead of their intended announcement dates. Whether this proves true or not, players should hopefully still be excited for more content as May 17 draws nearer, and with June not far away now.

Much more has been added in the past year in the form of survivors and tome archives, and Behaviour Interactive thanks its fans for sharing with them “6 years of horror” as they move into their next anniversary celebration. Behaviour Interactive now takes a look forward as Dead by Daylight’s sixth-year anniversary broadcast teases “big reveals,” “game updates,” and “good times,” so there is a lot to be excited about in the game’s future. Dead by Daylight’s official website now has a countdown set for the Run of Show Broadcast to help amp up the excitement.

Dead by Daylight is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
