The Knight: Best Non-Teachable Build (2022)

For players just starting out in Dead By Daylight who don’t have access to many of the DLC Killers in Dead By Daylight, this build uses only perks that come with the Knight and the base game, meaning players needn’t dish out cash for the pricey perks that come with certain Killers.

This build is focused on finding Survivors near bashed-in generators and keeping them injured while maintaining pressure on generators until the endgame.

Nowhere to Hide (The Knight) - Kicking a generator will reveal the aura of all Survivors within 24 meters for 5 seconds. Sloppy Butcher (General Killer Perk) - Basic attacks cause the Mangled and Hemorrhage status ailments, slowing down healing by 25% and regressing healing progress when left unfinished. Jolt (General Perk) – Downing a Survivor causes all generators within a 32-meter radius to lose 8% progress. Hex: No One Escapes Death (General Perk) - After the final generator is completed, all Survivors suffer from the Exposed status ailment, and users gain a 4% Haste effect until the Hex Totem is cleansed.

The Knight: Best Build (2022)

For the more experienced players, this build incorporates perks only obtainable by purchasing other Killers or finding them in the Shrine of Secrets. Like with the previous build, these perks revolve around using The Knight’s power to quickly find Survivors near generators and controlling them with ruthless regression perks.

Corrupt Intervention (The Plague) - At the start of the trial, the 3 generators furthest from the killer’s starting location are blocked for 120 seconds or until the first survivor is downed. Nowhere to Hide (The Knight) - Kicking a generator will reveal the aura of all Survivors within 24 meters for 5 seconds. Call of Brine (The Onryo) - After kicking a generator, over the next 60 seconds, it will regress at 200% normal speed, and each time a Survivor completes a skill check on it, users will receive a noise notification. Eruption (The Nemesis) - After kicking a generator, its aura will be highlighted in yellow. Upon downing a survivor, all highlighted generators will lose 10% progress, and any survivors working on them will be subject to the Incapacitated status ailment for 30 seconds.

Dead By Daylight is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
