The Trickster: Best Non-Teachable Build (2022)

The Trickster has a few base perks that can make the Endgame especially deadly for Survivors by blocking their way out for each Survivor hooked. This build emphasizes stalling and quickly downing Dead by Daylight’s unfortunate Survivors until the exit gates are powered, at which point The Trickster can reveal the ace up his sleeve.

No Way Out (The Trickster) – At the end of the trial, when a survivor interacts with an exit gate, users will receive a noise notification, and the exit gates will be blocked for 12 seconds, plus another 12 seconds for each Survivor hooked. Jolt (General Perk) – Downing a Survivor causes all generators within a 32–meter radius to lose 8% progress. Bitter Murmur (General Perk) – Each time a generator is completed, the auras of Survivors within 16 meters of that generator are revealed for 5 seconds. Once the last generator is complete, all Survivors’ auras are revealed for 10 seconds. Hex: No One Escapes Death (General Perk) – After the final generator is completed, all survivors suffer from the Exposed status ailment, and users gain a 4% Haste effect until the Hex Totem is cleansed.

The Trickster: Best Build (2022)

The Trickster kills best when uninterrupted by obstructions in the environment, and – while he can be fast on his feet – wasting time on breaking pallets can give Survivors the time they need to escape. As The Trickster can quickly injure Survivors with his blades, this build revolves around the perk Hex: Blood Favor, belonging to The Blight, which blocks pallets after injuring a Survivor. It also incorporates The Dredge perk, Darkness Revealed, allowing The Trickster to see auras whenever he reloads from a locker.

Deadlock (The Cenobite) – After a generator is repaired, the generator with the most progress is blocked for 30 seconds. Hex: Blood Favor (The Blight) – Injuring a survivor blocks all pallets from being pulled down within a 32–meter radius for 15 seconds. Darkness Revealed (The Dredge) – After searching a locker, the auras of Survivors within 8 meters of any locker are revealed for 5 seconds. Hex: Undying (The Blight) – Once per trial, when a Hex Totem is cleansed, the effect of that Hex is transferred to another Totem. Furthermore, survivors standing within 4 meters of a Dull Totem have their auras revealed.

Dead by Daylight is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
