Dead Island 2 has now released a new character trailer for Dani, a melee-focused slayer. Her innate skill is that she not only regains health when slaying multiple zombies in quick succession, but she also has an ability called Thunderstruck, which, when Dani uses a heavy attack, triggers a forceful explosion on impact. The new character looks like a great addition to the game and is going to make the combat worth the wait for the players, as this will surely add a great mix and a different play style for the players.

The trailer dropped along with a short comic and concept art that showed off the character in more detail. Overall, Dani not only looks fun but also looks like a powerful pick for the gamers that want to go down the melee route. Dani’s reveal comes shortly after another trailer revealed a slayer named Ryan.

Dead Island 2 is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. And while the game has been delayed yet again, it’s clear that the studio is taking its time, which is great to see for fans of the game.
