The return of Hugh Jackman, and having Deadpool 3 in the MCU, means that the door is wide open for a bunch of interesting cameos. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have great chemistry, and they could make a hilarious and R-rated impression on the MCU depending on what characters they interact with in Deadpool 3.

10 Dopinder

An extremely friendly taxi driver that has helped Deadpool on more than one occasion, Dopinder became a good friend of Wade Wilson in the Deadpool movies. It wouldn’t feel like a sequel to Deadpool if Dopinder did not make some form of an appearance. He could drive Wolverine and Deadpool somewhere, or just appear in his taxi.

Dopinder is the perfect chauffeur for Deadpool, considering he takes high-fives as payment for his taxi service and allows masked men in his taxi with a heavy assortment of weapons. He’s a fan favorite character that even Deadpool seems to be a big fan of.

9 Hulk

One of the last original Avengers characters to still be active and alive, Bruce Banner is still appearing in the MCU in different projects. One of his later projects has been teased as World War Hulk, thanks to his appearance in Disney Plus’ She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The inclusion of Hulk could be a fun way to show the fighting between Hulk, Wolverine, and Deadpool, with something more.

The creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld, even opened up in an interview that he would love to see Deadpool interact with the Hulk the most in the MCU. It’s a perfect cameo, considering how Deadpool could easily make Bruce Banner rage, and turn into Hulk.

8 Blind Al

As far as roommates go, Blind Al isn’t the worst. Al is a friend of Deadpool’s, and their banter is witty and hilarious. It includes Al threatening Wade, or Wade doing drive-by farts on her. They have great chemistry, and even to see them share one scene could be a barrel of laughs.

It would be interesting to see what Blind Al thinks of all the MCU heroes, and how she would interact with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. He would certainly not have the patience for her rudeness, and she wouldn’t have the patience for his smell.

7 Cable

A lot of meta fun could be had with the return of Josh Brolin’s Cable. Brolin played Cable in Deadpool 2 and was the antagonist for the majority of the movie. Cable and Deadpool have a great and rocky friendship, and they even shared a comic series.

The inclusion of this character leads to some exciting opportunities in the MCU, but also with a few meta jokes. Considering Josh Brolin is already in the MCU as Thanos, the Mad Titan, there could be many jokes surrounding his iconic voice, and how he sounds like Thanos.

6 Spider-Man

Deadpool appearing in the MCU opens up opportunities for a great deal of fun. The largest potential for a cameo comes in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Deadpool and Spider-Man have a rich history in the comics, as do Spider-Man and Wolverine. It would almost make the MCU come full circle, with the combination of Sony, 20th Century Fox, and Disney Marvel characters on-screen together.

The quips of Spider-Man, the vulgarity of Deadpool, and the all-around fed-up attitude of Wolverine would make for a great trio in Deadpool 3. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine certainly deserves a chance to interact with the most famous of MCU characters.

5 Cyclops

Scott Summers was one of the first X-Men to be introduced to readers. It would only be right that Cyclops is given a chance to shine in the MCU, as his true potential has never been realized in the comic book movies, he has appeared in. His friendship with Wolverine is a tad brotherly, and resentful, whereas a relationship with Deadpool is nearly nonexistent.

Cyclops would make a great cameo for Deadpool 3, as it shows how the Mutants and X-Men exist in the canon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, led by the iconic mutant leader, Cyclops. There’s a lot of potential in Cyclops’ MCU debut, with fans eager to see him come to life.

4 Kang The Conqueror

Marvel Studios’ first ten years were involved in the Infinity Saga. Ever since WandaVision, Marvel has been in its next phase, the Multiverse Saga. This saga has already seen the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man characters in Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as John Krasinski as Mister Fantastic. What awaits the Multiverse Saga, is its big bad, Kang the Conqueror.

Kang has already been confirmed to be the ultimate villain of the Multiverse Saga. He character that exists in the Multiverse with a vast knowledge of it, and variants that are even darker than the one seen in Loki. With Deadpool and Wolverine in the MCU, perhaps some Multiverse hijinks are to ensue thanks to Kang.

3 Doctor Strange

The first mention of the Multiverse comes from the original Doctor Strange movie. However, Doctor Strange did not explore the Multiverse until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This sequel saw the former Sorcerer Supreme hopping through different Marvel Universes. His magic also allows for a gateway into these realities.

If anyone knows more about the Multiverse, it’s Doctor Strange. He accidentally opened a portal for other worlds in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which led to returning characters like Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and more exciting characters from the past. Perhaps Doctor Strange has plenty of involvement in Deadpool’s antics.

2 Nick Fury

Few characters can exist outside the watchful eye of Nick Fury. This character keeps his eye on everything and seems to know everything that there is, and needs to know about the protection of Earth. Nick Fury surely won’t be happy about Deadpool existing on his planet, considering how annoying he is.

Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds also have great chemistry, and to see them arguing and bantering together could add a lot of fun to the MCU. It will also further show how involved Nick Fury is in the MCU, since 2008’s Iron Man.

1 Professor X

An essential character to the X-Men mythos, Professor Charles Xavier has helped shape and guide the minds of outcast Mutants into something better. He’s a true hero, and incredibly gifted in his intellect. Professor X has been played by Patrick Stewart, who recently returned for a multiverse cameo in Doctor Strange 2.

It would be surprising if Professor X is not involved, or at least mentioned, considering the friendship that he has with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The two shared a devastating bond in 2017’s Logan, and to see them again in their MCU prime could be a beautiful thing.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, 2024.
