The crossover event is named Resident Evil: Project W and very little has been revealed about it. What has been confirmed is that Resident Evil: Project W will be a full chapter, meaning it will be the size of a full update for Dead by Daylight. Further, it’s planned to release in 2022. That likely means it’ll arrive later this year, perhaps in the fall, but at least has a confirmed release window....

In a community update posted to Steam, Dead Cells confirmed that the mid-December “Christmas” update will be “full of little stocking stuffers,” including a new weapon, mob, and lore room, as well as skins, a diet option, and more that is still being tested. This is the developer’s first community post on Steam since a Hotfix released in August following Dead Cells’ Barrels O’ Fun update, with the bout of silence purportedly due to a second lockdown and time spent training new team members....

Schofield revealed as much during a recent episode of The Game Informer Show podcast. Schofield said that if he did make a Dead Space sequel that it wouldn’t necessarily follow the lore of Dead Space 2 and 3, as the plot became too complex. Schofield was also asked what it would take, from an economic standpoint, to make Dead Space 4 a reality.
